Revealed: Images of Women Leaders Who Bared to Make Change

Reception: Thursday, February 28, 6:00-8:00pm

This exhibition, part of our Girlcott campaign, presents the images of the women leaders who have dared to bare it all for the camera. Photographs of over thirty women leaders from the Greater Hartford community will be revealed without their make-up.

Girlcott is a movement of Connecticutwomen raising consciousness, money and hell on behalf of women around the world and the issues we continue to face in 2013.

Girlcott asks women to “girlcott” (as opposed to boycott) make-up for the month of March and to donate the monies spent on cosmetics to organizations and programs that help and support women and girls in Hartford and internationally. Please join us for this special exhibition and reception… and dare to bare it all!

    Uh, I see a date and time for the exhibit reception above, but no location?!?!

    The exhibit will be at Charter Oak Cultural Center beginning on February 28th. The reception is also at Charter Oak Cultural Center. Located at 21 Charter Oak Ave. in Hartford
